Description

The book sent to hand all right. I am under quite a compliment to you for sending it. I sent you some stamped envelopes that will pay the Postage. Bro Stewart and I held a communion here yesterday. We had a very pleasant time. Stewart preaches to day and I am through and at leisure. Have not heard anything from Mr. McCombs. If you have not sent anything here, you can send it to synod, or to Bro. E. Stewart at ------ Carroll County, Indiana. He expects to go to Synod. He has a Bro there that he wishes to see. I think I will not be there. Both time and means are lacking. My business at home needs my presence. If I would go I would not be at home before June. Some people here are quite sick. An old woman here by the name of Harbison is in a critical condition with disease or inflammation of the bladder. I will start for home tomorrow. Yours as ever.
Wm Ballantine

P.S. If anything turns up let me know. Thanks for all your trouble with sending book and ticket.
