#182 Funeral Sermon by Reverend Theo Krumery for Dr. John D. Reid
November 13, 1962
This occasion is to me full of solemnity and also full of inspiration. It is full of solemnity in that it reminds us that, like Dr. Reid, we shall some day, perhaps not far away, be called to close our office or place of business for the last time, and stand ourselves for final judgement in the supreme court of the universe. It is full of inspiration when I think of the consecration and devotion to the high calling of God upon the life of the doctor. Dr. Reid believed that a man's first allegence wsas to his Creator, and that if a man be true to his God he cannot be false to his brother.
